After an update there is an issue with new subscriptions for notifications about changes to datasets or campaigns. Existing subscriptions still seem to work though. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Due to software updates the email functionality of HALO DB is currently compromised. In particular, requests for new passwords via the web interface and notifications via email are not possible at the moment. A maintenance is scheduled for Friday, 10.07.2020. This may cause unexpected disruptions of HALO DB services, so please consider not to use HALO-DB on that day. We apologize for any inconvenience. Oberpfaffenhofen: 13th January 2017

Due to the strongly increased volume of the data hold at the HALO-Database it was needed to adapt the bandwidth of the network connection. In the past download times of up to one hour occurred for some "bigger" files. Thanks to the work of system and network administration the HALO-Database network link provides now 20 Mbit/s for upload and download that gives the users 10 times faster performance compared to the past.

Oberpfaffenhofen: 2nd December 2015

HALO-Database user can now receive daily notifications by E-mail on changes occurring to their missions. Visit your HALO-Database account page and see the new box "GET NOTIFIED" and follow the instructions. You can get a detailed list of uploads and updated data set for the mission you are interested in.

The search portal of the HALO-Database supports now the OpenSearch standard. You can receive the results of a search at the HALO-Database in rss, atom or JSON format combined with the OpenSearch response elements. An OpenSearch description document is available to allow an OpenSearch client to properly query the database.
