Description of the institute

Nagoya University (NU) is a Japanese national university with an urban campus located in Chikusa-ku, Nagoya. Nagoya is the fourth largest city in Japan, the capital city of Aichi Prefecture, lying in the southwest part of the Chubu (Central Japan) region. In 2018, NU was selected as one of top five Designated National University Corporation. It is the last Imperial University in Japan, ranked amongst the top higher education institutions in Japan today.
