Parameter volume_scattering_function_of_radiative_flux_in_sea_water

Properties

Properties of the parameter volume_scattering_function_of_radiative_flux_in_sea_water
Name volume_scattering_function_of_radiative_flux_in_sea_water
Description Radiative flux is the sum of shortwave and longwave radiative fluxes. In accordance with common usage in geophysical disciplines, "flux" implies per unit area, called "flux density" in physics. Scattering of radiation is its deflection from its incident path without loss of energy. The volume scattering function is the fraction of incident radiative flux scattered into unit solid angle per unit path length. The (range of) direction(s) of scattering can be specified by a coordinate of scattering_angle.
